If you shoot for a living, you probably own more gear than you can list from memory. GearDex gives every camera, lens, light, filter and drone its own record: serial number, photos, purchase price, current value, condition, where it’s stored and the receipt. You can add a whole bag by typing a sentence or importing a CSV, and the app flags items that are still missing a serial or receipt.

Before a job, build the shoot plan with a call sheet, locations, weather and sun times, then pack from the kit you actually own. Print QR labels and scan items out when a second shooter borrows them, so you can see who has what and when it’s due back. On Pro you can export an insurance PDF of the whole inventory.

The client side lives in the same account. Every plan includes a photography website and client galleries. Pro adds a client CRM, and Studio adds online booking, quotes, contracts and invoices paid through your own Stripe, PayPal or Venmo link. GearDex takes no cut.

Starter is free for 25 items with no card. Pro is $4 a month, Studio is $19 a month. Runs in the browser and as desktop apps for Mac and Windows, and you can export your data on any plan.
